a window ledge is the perfect place to brew a refreshing bit of tea. at our house there was hibiscus tea with honey and just a squeeze of lime. on repeat, all weekend.
I don't know how I missed out on the existence of "sun tea" - but I was at home over the weekend and my Dad's girlfriend (who is from the South) was talking about it. And I was like "ya ya ... iced tea." And then she described it and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It's just water + leaves + sun = tea. Literally, SUN tea.
hey ashley, i get my hibiscus tea (which is really just dried hibiscus flowers) from my local spice/nut/all things yummy shop. but i've also found them online at mountainroseherbs.com! good luck!
I live by sun tea, even in the winter! It's actually even BETTER in the winter, because it's heartening to yield something warm and cozy despite the cold weather.
Thanks so much for writing a note! Please remember to keep comments and links relevant to the conversation. No room for spam around these tea leaves. xo.
