make-believe: capture the flag.

6.07.2012

growing up, the end of the school year always meant playing capture the flag. my favorite games started in the early evening and lasted just until the sun was beginning set. necessities included bug spray, band-aids, tie-on sneakers, and a ruthless competitive streak. i'm really hoping to get in a game or two this summer.

  1. Cute idea! Never played capture the flag, but this outfit certainly has a nostalgic summer quality to it, loving that striped tank too. ;)

  4. Oh I LOVED capture the flag when I was a kid - I loved that we lived in a quiet small town and could do that without worry!

  10. I, too, have fond start-of-summer capture the flag memories. How about kick the can for a throwback to summers of yore? That bug spray is so pretty that I would use it as home decor!

  11. I love this new series! When I grew up, the favorite game among all my friends was Red Rover and then Kickball. I never played capture the flag until college. Really fun, until I started playing with the guys. Those band-aids came in handy :P
