this is not a story about breakfast. though it could be.

oatmeal is for eating. i know. but sometimes it makes for a pretty good at-home spa treatment. and i'm kind of digging those lately.

this weekend i slathered the stuff on my face; a simple mixture of ground up oatmeal, yogurt and honey. it left my skin feeling soft and smooth and allowed me to practice my best monster faces in the mirror. win-win.

sweet blue bowl from gleena. visit the shop for lots more that is lovely.

  9. thank you for the sweet notes, friends. and yes, i highly recommend smearing your breakfast all over your face!

@lisa: i generally just fiddle with settings until i find something i like. i take most of these close-ups with my camera on manual so i can adjust everything i want to!
