my dad has a penchant for old jars. he likes to use them in his workshop to sort his nails and screws {old coffee cans are a close second on his usefulness scale}. while he's been known to sip on a cup of tea with dessert, my dad isn't the world's biggest tea drinker... but i know he'd get behind this idea for a tea shelf for the sake of the jars alone. brilliant, no? {though i think mine would have to be much, much larger}. get step by step instructions at design*sponge!

This is adorable! Ha! I loved the story about your Dad sorting his workshop stuff in old coffee cans. My Dad and Grandpa do the same thing, it is so cute.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I'm more of a coffee person myself, but this is lovely -- I've been on a bit of a "jar" kick lately, keeping any and all leftover glass jars...this would be a great use for the smaller ones!
ReplyDeleteI saw this yesterday and I love it. I can't get enough of the DIY projects on design sponge. Did you see the old silverware turned key hook? Awes.
