artifact uprising: a snail mail giveaway.

June 30, 2014

postcards If you’re not familiar with Artifact Uprising already, then it’s a total joy for me to introduce you to a really stellar company with a mission to admire. Fueled by a desire to move “stories off our computers and into our lives,” Artifact Uprising has designed a suite of paper and print products aimed at giving folks a chance to document their stories in ways that are a little more tangible than scrolling down a computer screen. Last Christmas, I made a photo book for my sister Cait, filled with photos from the first year of sweet Oliver’s life and lately, I have my sights set on making an instagram-friendly book for the shots that I’ve been taking there.

Lucky for you guys, Artifact Uprising is offering a Reading My Tea Leaves reader the opportunity to make a postcard pack—20 cards, with or without greetings, and featuring photos of your own.
postcards Because there’s a new little life to celebrate around here, I made a postcard pack using a few shots that James and I took of Faye the week that she was born. The whole process took me about 20 minutes and just a few days later, I had the postcards in hand. postcards In an effort to make sure that their love of paper is still gentle on the planet, Artifact Uprising prints their postcards on 100% recycled paper.
postcards To enter a chance to win a postcard pack of your own, leave your email address in the field below (and just for fun: tell me who in your address book is going to get your first postcard in the comments below!). UPDATE: The giveaway is now closed and a winner has been notified! Thanks so much for entering!

This friend always gets the first card, and the prettiest stationary.
