letter2

yesterday, a letter in the mail from one of my very favorite people. nothing pulls at the heartstrings quite like a typed-up letter, does it?

other things:
* love notes.
* a gilded alphabet.
* letters on transit street.
new york diaries. what’s a diary if not a letter to yourself?
* my new favorite pens. in brown and grey.

    No. Nothing does. I wish someone would send me a letter like that.

    I love snail mail. I've recently joined a couple of swaps where you send a postcard listing a recap of "+" and "-" of your week. I've been typing them on a thrifted typewriter. I love the simplicity of it. Then I cursive my name in color. It makes me so happy to send these postcards to people I don't know. : )

    And what a joy it is to type someone a letter.

    really, you just take my breath away. reading your tea leaves is such a window into your soul and sensibility –and such a joyful reminder of why I decided to have children. you're an anniversary gift all by yourself..and then there are your sisters…
    so great. so lucky, i am.

    I would love an old type writer..
    What a lovely letter to receive.
    I do hope that old communication will be strongly revived again soon.

    I love letters in the mail and that looks like it was typed with a typewriter: bonus. Bestill my old soul heart. 😉

    You know I have 3 typewriters and have still never sent a typewritten letter… must remedy this as it looks lovely to receive!

    Oh that is so beautiful. It reminds me of my grandfather who has often typed out letters to me. I still remember playing with his typewriter.
