wrapped presents
last night i managed to sneak a little time to wrap presents. i couldn’t get this article out of my head, so even though i had planned a kraft paper and white doily gift wrapping theme, i finished by making bags out of newspaper and using what tissue paper i already had in the house. snow fell while i wrapped and a glass of egg nog sweetened the task. only once did i throw myself on the floor in a fit of frustration.  pretty good, i’d say.
hoping your last minute tasks are happy and peaceful and served with a tall glass of egg nog.
until soon,

e.

sounds like you're keeping pretty calm in the face of last minute tasks. i also decided to use up what tissue paper we had left in the house and to use newspaper for the rest. maybe fabric bags for next year? merry christmas!

    Lovely packages!

Wrapping and baking happened at the same time yesterday, the kitchen counter is a mess of tape, scraps and powdered sugar.
