my week in objects (mostly).

November 5, 2010

five little things that made my week.

1. this bright yellow mum.mum, reimagined {because even though i knocked it right off its stem, it’s doing a lovely job brightening up our bathroom}.

2. these bracelets.
bracelets {because they’re the reminders of a surprise night i planned for james. tickets to see greg brown. i’m still proud i managed to keep it a secret}.

3. this white bowl.
bowl {because it’s one of four newbies. nice and deep and perfect for autumn soups}.

4. this paint brush.
paint brush {because not only did james use it to give a facelift to our entryway, he also cleaned it. and managed, mostly, to keep paint off the handle}.

5. these cookies. and the coffee too.
cookies and coffee {because james made them, and forced me to close my laptop lid just for a minute so i could enjoy them}.

what little something made your week?

Oh, that last image is so delightful! Little things that made my week was Harney and Son's Hot Cinnamon Spice tea (delight!) and a whole wheat cinnamon bun from Big Sky Bakery in Portland, ME. Heaven!

All five are wonderful, And your scored Greg Brown tickets (I actually am a fan too). James did an awesome job on the paint brush cleanup. My husband is a stickler for clean brushes ~ I'm not as careful as he wishes.

    Have a great weekend. Cheers~

Sounds like James is earning some major credits this week!! I love this round-up.

Have a great weekend Erin. I think my first Spanish hot chocolate of the season (with a churro on the side) made my entire week!

a good soup bowl is very VERY important. my favorites are sky blue and white ones from anthropologie. even just eating cereal out of them makes my morning a little nicer 🙂
