falling, a story.

October 13, 2009
this weekend, james and i had ourselves a much-needed little walk in the woods. we closed our computers, left our books behind, and hopped in the car for a mini adventure.ducks
we popped in and out of old mills towns and i shared with james all of my new found knowledge about 19th century mill construction. he was very impressed.waterrocks
then we parked our car and headed into the woods. i splashed around a lot and made james very jealous of my new rain boots.me2
we took lots of photos.leaf (1)
and {i} cooed at all of the pretty redness of the leaves.redleaf
we even found ourselves a little pumpkin patch.james
fall, i love you.field

Old mill towns are a lot of fun. I take yoga in Putnam, CT. It's an old mill town and there is a waterfall like that across the street. The picture with the leaf and the waterfall is really nice.
