Really loving your list of links this week and that rosy lip tint. The mirrors article was fascinating. So much of our time and energy is spent, as women, looking in the mirror, avoiding the mirror, telling ourselves we don’t care, admitting we do care…on and on. This article on ‘mirror fasting’ is interesting: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2012/aug/19/mirror-fasting-self-image-beauty.

This seems like a rather mundane comment to leave, but I’d love to know how you are caring for your babaa sweaters! Any special detergent you are using? If you hand wash, how do you handle the drying in a tiny space? I recently moved from Southern California to New England and am still new to the caring for (and seasonal storage of) thick, warm knits so would love to learn any tips!

I hand wash, typically, though I was at my parents’ house last weekend and took advantage of being able to wash this cotton sweater on the super delicate cycle of their washing machine! When we wash by hand we roll sweaters in a towel to get out extra water and then lay them flat on top of our drying rack! But I typically only wash my wool sweaters once per season!

Thanks for what you care and write about, and this week I found especially moving the unruly bodies project that you linked to.

I always love reading this adorable series. That lip tint is gorgeous! Not to mention, this post reminded me of a fun craft I have to do tomorrow ♥

I also especially liked the unruly bodies project linked here. With the little free time I have, short stories are the best medium for literature.
