bridge & burn: a fall jacket giveaway.

November 17, 2015

bridge_and_burn_giveaway_reading_my_tea_leaves5D9A3205-EditWe’re having something of a Pacific Northwest moment on these tea leaves. If you’ve been around here for awhile, you’re probably familiar with my longtime sponsor, Bridge & Burn. These guys design their clothes in Portland, Oregon and everything in their collection has that particular Pacific Northwest vibe of easy outdoorsism and practicality.

bridge_and_burn_giveaway_reading_my_tea_leaves5D9A3189-EditThis week, one lucky Reading My Tea Leaves reader will be taking home a Howell Jacket—size and color of their choosing. In keeping with the spirit of the brand—and other jackets of theirs that I’ve had the chance to try on for size—the Howell Jacket is a jacket for rambling around in. There are deep pockets for collecting treasures, a cozy hood for protecting yourself from the elements, and a perfect blend of comfort and style. bridge_and_burn_giveaway_reading_my_tea_leaves5D9A2878-EditI’m modeling the Howell Jacket in black in these shots. Like everything from Bridge & Burn, the beauty is in the details.bridge_and_burn_giveaway_reading_my_tea_leaves5D9A3047-EditThe brushed black cotton is super soft and the oversized fit makes it cozy and comfy.bridge_and_burn_giveaway_reading_my_tea_leaves5D9A3219-EditDouble pockets leave plenty of options of treasure-gathering and hand-warming. bridge_and_burn_giveaway_reading_my_tea_leaves5D9A3083-EditA roomy hood is perfect for blocking gusty winds.bridge_and_burn_giveaway_reading_my_tea_leaves5D9A3233-EditTo enter, submit your email address into the form below. Bonus entries for folks who follow Bridge & Burn on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. The giveaway closes on Friday, November 20 at 11:59 pm PST. A randomly selected winner will be contacted on Monday, November 23. (Apologies international readers, this giveaway is open to readers in the US only.)

Found something else to love? Reading My Tea Leaves readers get 15% off Bridge & Burn items with the code RMTL15. The offer expires November 22, 2015, PST.

Thank you for this! Would love a new coat 🙂

Just browsing through their site for the first time and love the dresses. Have you tried any? Are they super loose-fitting? Loose-fitting is not a good look on my short, curvy frame but if you’ve tried them please let me know!

Depends a lot on the particular style, I think!

I agree with Lesley! Are you by chance also wearing their Amherst Olive Heather top? Great pairing with the coat.

I love everything you are wearing! What jeans do you have on? They are just as lovely as the jacket.

Do you mind sharing what size jacket you’re wearing? Trying to get an idea of how it fits (I may have to order it regardless!)

I’m in an xs. The fit is definitely roomier than the other jackets I’ve worn of theirs (like the Warbler!)

I love this! Can you tell us what kind of weather this would be good for? Is it a light fall/spring jacket or can it go into the winter months? Just trying to gauge the warmth!

Hi there:I call it a fall jacket in the head because it’s probably not warm enough to get through the coldest winter days, it’s still cozy and warm enough for cool weather. Perfect for spring, too!

I need something like this, cute and comfy, for walking my dog. My current options are so embarassing, especially when paired with pj pants first thing in the morning haha.

You look great in this! I’d be one thrilled winner and would probably wear it 3 out of 4 seasons here in Seattle. I’d love to visit them in their Portland store when we get down there.

I have a, heavy deep-winter jacket but have been searching for a lighter alternative to get me through the in between days of autumn and spring. Love the the look of this one! It definitely make you look ready for adventuring. 🙂
