my week in objects (mostly).

five little things that made my week.

1. buckwheat.
buckwheat {the perfect ingredient to up our kale salad game.}

2. these gloves.
gloves {because it occured to me to wash them. still pilly, but so much better.}

3. these diaper covers.
diaper covers {boiled in baking soda and smelling like nothing at all. which is much better than what they were smelling like.}

4. this book.
cake {for inspiration.}

5. these vitamins.
vitamins {just the prenatals i’m supposed to be swallowing. and some vitamin d, not pictured. can you tell i’m on a shake-the-funk bender?}

other things:
six degrees of caffeination.
clutter cure?
stowaway.
baa, ram, ewe.
pop!
sweet slouch.
timeless timepieces.
doesn’t get much cuter than this.
portugal!
i need a tribe.

other things:
hammer, nails, and a long-legged sofa..

    Erin, is that last photo an announcement? If so, congrats and happy day! If not, why are you taking pre-natals? Baby-less and clueless over here, haha.

    Love buckwheat! I have never used it in salad. I make it for breakfast with a little maple syrup or honey and some berries šŸ™‚

    What kind of prenatals are those (if it's not too nosy to ask)? Mine come in this weird plastic-y casing, and those look much more benign.

      Yeah, just kinda…pee stink! We just threw caution to the wind and boiled them in a big pot of water with baking soda! Good as new!

    Tell me more about boiling diaper covers!!! I'm serious, I haven't heard of this and I want to know how it works, how I can tell if it's safe with my own, etc!!! šŸ™‚

    You can boil diaper covers with baking soda? Was it amonia-stink or poop-stink? More info please!

      I just learned about them! So tiny and cute! They're paraben, phthalate, and cruelty-free and EU compliant, so pretty good as far as cosmetics go! (PS. Just firmed up a little project with them soon, so stay tuned!)!
