{because they were at my parents' house. and they were so beautiful before the storm}.

{because it did such a gallant job of sticking around through the worst of it in DUMBO}.

{for cozy-ing up the joint. all my fingers crossed that those still without power get theirs restored soon. subways included}.

{and the others that our neighborhood florist gave to james before the storm. those blue eyes get him just 'bout anything}.

{because when you have two extra "office mates" all week, it's awfully nice when they share their treats}.

I also sympathize with those without power, and I hope they get theirs back soon. I can't imagine living without electricity. I don't know how Amish people do it.
