Long walks on the beach. Raucous board games. A high school reunion. More stuffing than I thought was possible. It was a good weekend no matter how you look at it and I was glad to have instagram and vsco to help document it when I couldn't bear to lug around a real camera. I'm back in the city now with a bagful of country things to decorate the apartment. We're gearing up for a month full of merry in this tiny apartment.
Since I didn't post on Friday, some other things:
a new-to-me shop.
for train snacks.
i'd take three.

I so love your scissors and wish I could find greens like those here in Florida. I don't think palm fronds will work the same way to bring in some holiday cheer to the home. ;)
ReplyDeleteyou never know! palm fronds sound kind of awesome to me!
Deletefantastic atmosphere as always...
ReplyDeletesouvenirs of what looks like a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeletepretty pretty pictures, as always!
ReplyDeleteA tiffin box! I think you need to come visit.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you do with your greenery. You will share, won't you?
ReplyDeleteI will! Soon, soon!
DeleteSounds wonderful!
ReplyDeleteA lovely and fun weekend you had. Love the description of all the stuffing. :)
ReplyDeleteThe food photos are so pretty in black and white.
I think I've commented on this before, but when I was looking at your Instagram photos I had a moment of "wait a second! I know that place!" all over again. I grew up in Guilford and definitely know that shoreline : ).
ReplyDeleteSo great! My mom and dad are still in Madison. I'll always be a sucker for these beaches.
DeleteMy parents still live there, too. Every time I'm home we go for at least a drive and most times a walk along there. It's so pretty.
