my week in objects (mostly).

8.24.2012

five little things that made my week.

1. this bowl of watermelon.
watermelon
{and the others. not even minding all those seeds}.

2. this army jacket.
jacket
{because it was paul's. i might be the only pacifist utterly enthralled by war stories}.

3. these stripes.
gum
{because sometimes gross is also good}.

4. these thank you notes.
thank you notes
{because i finally scratched a few off the list}.

5. this pot of summer foods.
chutney
{tomatoes and peaches and peppers for making chutney. we ate it all week long}.

other things:
floral jeans.
hanging pots.
a crafty evening.
boots.
also:
flowers and other things.
pretty place cards.

  2. Fruit stripes! I LOVED them when I was little, I went through the whole thing in one day (which probably contributed to cavities...). But I have a perfume that smells exactly like it by Max Mara. totally brings me back.

    Have a great weekend, Erin!

  3. I eat the seeds in watermelon! So far, no watermelons have grown in my belly...

  4. Thank you so much for writing thank you notes. So many people don't do them any more and it is so important. Everyone says "no one writes thank you notes anymore" but that is just self-serving bunk.
