I too have been commencing my day with a grapefruit. It's the perfect way to begin the day: sweet, tangy, refreshing, and full of vitamin c.

I ran across this blog post this morning for making Rosted Winter Citrus. I haven't tried it yet, but it looked interesting. I will have to go stock up on fresh citrus this week! http://joythebaker.com/2012/01/roasted-winter-citrus/

I've been wanting to attempt baked grapefruit with cinnamon and clove for a little while now. This must be a sign.

I've been eating my share of grapefruit and honeybells too. So delicious and cheery in the winter.

Do you eat your grapefruit plain, or do you put anything on it? I ask because I've tried one before but I just didn't like it and I can't put my finger on it. It had… a taste to it that I didn't find pleasant. But I've also had the same problem with oranges from time to time, so perhaps maybe it just wasn't ripe enough.

oh gosh, me too. I'm a grapefruit addict, especially this time of year. We've been juicing them with clementines for breakfast!

I adore grapefruit too! Especially the red.. Just the perfect amount of tart/sweet. I so miss them. Can't have it because i take a med. that would be rendered ineffective if i eat grapefruit. šŸ™ I love other citrus too, but it's just not the same…

Grapefruit eating is something that the women in my family inherit at the age of about 40… I'll be there soon. These look delicious – alas, the want for them has not quite matured. Lovely pics.
