egg nog.

December 21, 2011

eggs mixer combination eggnog i know. for some people there’s nothing less appetizing. but for me, egg nog is pure delight. it’s memories of childhood christmases in a frosty glass. yes. woolly tights, velvety dresses, scratchy headbands, and egg nog mustaches on four little girls. that was christmas eve at my house.

this version is easy and rewarding to make at home. just be sure to use fresh eggs from a nearby farm. if you’re feeling fresh, add a splash or two of bourbon (we like this one). grate fresh nutmeg atop and enjoy.

I've never had homemade eggnog before, but I do like the kind from the store, I'll have to give this a go šŸ™‚

I should really try making this home, because I do really like eggnog…with bourbon in it, for sure! Thanks for the inspiration!

ON MY LIST. My list is failing me right now, so I might decide to just move this to the top (with bourbon) and call it a day. Or a year.
