my week in objects (mostly).

January 14, 2011

five little things that made my week.

1. this candle.
vetiver {because it smells unbelievably good. and because i think vetiver is a new favorite scent}.

2. this macadamia nut.
macadamia {because it’s smothered in chocolate and was brought to us by friends}.

3. this amaryllis.
amaryllis all flowers out {because even though it’s gotten an awful lot of face time on this blog, now it’s got five flowers and is even more lovely}.

4. these icicles.
icicles {because winter isn’t complete without a good set of them. and these look just like a xylophone}.

5. this fireplace.
fireplace {because even though it’s just a little mini one, it helps make us feel cozy on long winter nights}.

what little something made your week?

Those icicles are fantastic. My amarylis just started to blossom yesterday. It seems to literally be moving in front of my eyes!

I love the tiny fire place. And, candles are a wonderful thing at this time of year, for scents and for extra light and glow!

Love that candle recommendation. I'm addicted to Voluspa candles, from Anthropologie, so I could definitely try something new!
