and the winner is…

September 13, 2010
when it came time to decide the winner of the farmers market photo contest, i quickly realized that i would need some help to make a proper decision, so i enlisted two of my very favorite bloggers. chelsea of frolic and jane of ill seen, ill said are both photographers in their own right and curators of incredibly thoughtful blogs. i couldn’t think of two better women to aid me in choosing the winner. among so many worthy shots, it was difficult to choose only one.

but, here it is, the winning pick:   farmersmarket11

oh yay! love these–every one–the winner reminds me of a market we saw in Ottawa this summer–no surprise, I guess–the same tidy rows of tiny delicacies in wee rustic bins with the labels in french script–nice choice–such a great tribute, all of these, to the lovely movement toward markets everywhere
