my week in objects (mostly).

September 4, 2009
five little things that made my week.

1. crusty bread from seven stars bakery.bread (1)
{because it’s so good and we’ve been without a good bakery for way. too. long}.

2. these tea bags.tea (2){because i thought this little message was a lovely reminder for a week filled with new encounters}.

3. these white flowers.whitefleurs
{because they are beautiful and blooming and they remind me of the jasmine that we left behind. only i don’t think it’s quite the same. botanists out there}?

4. these sneakers.whitesneaks
{because they’re squeaky clean and new, just like this school year}.

5. this sunset.
sunset{because}.

what little something made your week?

Oh I love tea with messages on the labels… my favourite jasmine green tea (good earth) used to have little chinese sayings on them like "failure is not falling down but refusing to get up". But they've repackaged it now and it doesn't have them any more 🙁

All the color tone makes me feel so cofortable. I wish to have, and see, and taste all of them, too!

Gorgeous, cozy photos this week. 🙂

The cool morning air made my week, because the days soon turn into unrelenting heat, ugh.

Love your sunset 🙂 Your bread looks like my bakery bread I just got yesterday. Last night I buttered a few pieces, sliced some mozzarella cheese and broiled them for a few minutes. Then topped them with tomatoes, basil and oliver oil with vinegar. Heaven.

I like your tea with a message. I don't know if they still do it, but Celestial Seasonings used to have inspirational messages on their tea boxes. I loved my Sleepy Time tea and my messages. I've become such a coffee girl. Perhaps it's time for a cup of tea.

The little thing that made my week was beginning my 15 minutes of silence per day, yesterday. I rode the ferry to Sausalito and just looked out the window. No reading. No jotting in my journal. It was incredibly calming…

So with you on the bread this morning. I love that sunset!! I am now thinking I need a new pair of converse. I can actually smell the smell of squeeky clean converse fresh from the wash just by looking at that photo. 😉
