whales at quacks

earth day’s just around the corner and quack’s 43rd street bakery in austin is celebrating in style. {remember the mustache cookies?} my sister cait snapped these photos for me. aren’t these cookies adorable?

Wow, those are little works of art! Fancy bakery cookies always remind me of when I was a kid and my mom would let us pick out a cookie if we behaved during errands. Back then I think there were only happy faces and daisies to choose from!

I wish I could decorate cookies (and cupcakes) that well. I’m always amazed at what people can do with frosting.

I adore the whale one! I would love that along with a steaming hot latte right now! I would put my feet up and listen to Ella sing and eat a whale of a cookie~

I need to find a good way to celebrate here in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, this city is sort of the antithesis of earth day.
